DAILY DISAPPOINTMENT

Tom and I first saw this climber at the Whippi-Dip in Fairlee VT.  As you can see by the picture below, it has really, really cool blooms.



What I DID'T realize, is that once it blooms (which is generally between 9am and 5pm while we are at work), it closes up the same day and never opens again.  So far this summer we have had 2 brief sightings of this bloom.  For the most part, the climber looks like this all summer (sans the single bloom).

Thinking we're going to go with Morning Glory's next year.

  2. That flower reminds me a Reilly in that he is also a rare sighting...
