Anyway, there are probably some 200 Monster people on the floor we work on - some in sales like me, some in a sales support function of some kind. Someone put a box of chocolates for sale in the kitchen to help raise money for her daughter to attend "nationals". One of my coworkers decided to put his own box out.
Annie I think a box placed on the counter - with a photo of yourself in a similiar outfit and pose - would pull in a BIG pile of cash!

ReplyDeleteWhat do you get if she reaches the Nationals (whatever that is?) For the beach house you at least get a piece of candy and the potential for an invite to the beach.
ReplyDeleteInteresting you should ask that Jack....what you don't see is that there are candy bars in that box that you get for $1. But in terms of what do we get if the little darling actually MAKES it to Nationals....that's a much BIGGER question, isn't it? Do I win as an individual because I have helped a young person reach for a dream? Does society as a whole win because we are a part of cultivating a future leader?
