That was before I came across this irresistible offer:

Ah, Mother's Day. Breakfast in bed, flowers, a box of chocolates, perhaps, and Hooters.Yes, you read that right: Hooters.
The chain that's popular for its hot pants and tank top clad waitresses is trying to lure families in for meals on Mother's Day by dangling a free entree of up to $10 for moms. The catch? You have to bring the kiddies too.
Specifically, the fine print says moms “must be accompanied by one or more of her offspring” and make a drink purchase in order to claim their free meal. (Hooters did not respond to a request for comment or clarify if the drink purchase includes soft drinks as well as alcoholic beverages.)
Since a single Mom might have to do the driving, I guess that means the alcoholic bevs are for the kiddos. I suppose they have to start sometime, and what better place than at Hooters?
ReplyDeleteThat's the beauty of Mother's Day, it gives you an opportunity to start new traditions to share with your children, and their children, etc., etc., etc. Plus, body image is important to instill at a young age.
