Tom indicated that he saw a unicorn misting his mushrooms....makes me think that perhaps the mushrooms ARE truly magic and Tom has been doing some taste testing. Regardless, they are growing.
I'm becoming a vegetarian...of sorts... I need help with the lingo, shall I ask them to slap a cap on my veggie burger in the future? Any tips of this nature would be helpful.
'slap a cap' is perfectly acceptable vegetarian slang. do not confuse with 'pop a cap', which could lead to gunfire. You could also ask them to 'slip you some spore' when asking for mushrooms, or 'bring the fungus'. Either will have you sounding savvy.
OK, thanks for the tips, I'll be sure to fit in at some vegan sandwich shop in Vermont. You know, the type of place that writes their sandwich selections on a chalkboard and has a friendly dog that hangs around. I'm there!
My mistake! It was just Buster marking the sofa.
ReplyDeleteThe harvest is in! I was slappin' caps on my veggie burger this morning.
